Soil Cement and Steel Pipe Pile Method (HYSC Stake Method)

※HYSC : Hybrid-Steel Pipe and Soil Cement-Pile
A steel pipe with spiral-shaped ribs (ribbed steel pile) is laid in a soil cement column built in the ground to construct a foundation pillar. One type is to lay the steel pipe after having built the soil cement column, while the other type is to lay the steel pipe at the same time when the soil cement column is built, which can meet different conditions of construction.

Different types of HYSC pile
Features of Soil Cement and Steel Pipe Pile Method (HYSC Pile Method)
  • Reasonable and economical design is possible.
  • Excellent in bearing power.
  • Environmentally friendly method because it causes smaller amount of waste soil.
  • Possible to shorten construction period.
  • Possible to construct with low noise and vibration.

Application of Soil Cement and Steel Pipe Pile Method (HYSC Pile Method)
1. Foundation of road bridge.
  1. Foundation of elevated bridge with piles of about 50 m length.
  2. Foundation of elevated bridge.
  3. Foundation of elevated bridge at an approach area to river where the ground is mainly sand layer.
  4. Foundation of bridge abutment with piles of 20m length.
  5. Foundation of bridge abutment.
  6. Small-scale river bridge.
  7. Foundation of bridge.
2. Foundation of railway elevated bridge.
  1. Reform of freight line to passenger traffic line.
  2. Rigid frame elevated bridge caused by construction to elevate a railway.
3. Foundation of floodgate of river.
4. Foundation of retaining wall.
